Beach Camp Kingston

We believe in experiential education. We are a camp free from electronics and full of our natural environment! Sign up to gain confidence in the open water, gain new skills like stand up paddling and create friendships that last a lifetime!

LOCATION: North Beach in the Kingston Marina (Saltair beach). Walking distance from the ferry and Mike Wallace park.

Our unique program offers a well rounded mix of activities. Campers aged 7-14 will start each morning with group exercise, followed by beach games and water time. Lots of opportunity to explore the environment, with guided beach exploration with your marine biologist instructor. Campers will learn the fundamentals of stand up paddling and water safety. We operate with a 1:5 ratio of Instructor to camper, no more than 15 campers per session.

It is expected that campers provide their own lunch, plenty of water, extra clothes and beach towels. US coastguard approved lifejackets ARE provided for each camper as well as wetsuits. There will be opportunities to purchase lunch in town during lunch breaks with an instructor present.

Sign up process is based on a first come, first served basis.

*Cancellations are processed Monday – Friday during office hours. Three weeks or more before the start of camp/session: 90% refund. Two weeks cancellation: 25% refund. One week or less: no refund, but option to change sessions if space allows.

We believe that everyone should be treated equally regardless of race, sex, gender identification, sexual orientation, national origin, native language, religion or disability. We strive to create an experience that allows children to be immersed in our natural environment in a safe and respectful manner. We practice leave no trace and hope to create the best ocean stewards for the future generations.
